For decades, the Clerics Regular Minor (Adorno Fathers) have been a beacon of hope in Goma, Congo, bringing education to children despite overwhelming challenges. What once stood as a modest effort to provide learning opportunities has now become a well-equipped network of primary and secondary schools, vocational training centers, and empowerment programs that shape the future of thousands of young minds.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to developing self-belief and faith in the children we serve, equipping them not only with knowledge but also with practical skills to find and retain employment, take responsibility for their own lives, and contribute to the improvement of their communities. We strive to empower girls and young women, ensuring they have equal access to education, vocational training, and leadership opportunities.
Through our schools and programs, we provide for the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of youth at risk, offering a nurturing environment where children can grow academically and personally. We don’t just build schools—we build futures.
Yet, this journey has not been without struggles. The recent conflict has left destruction in its wake, damaging parts of our school buildings and threatening the progress we have worked so hard to achieve. But in the face of adversity, we stand firm in our mission—to provide not just education, but a foundation for a brighter future..
Thanks to the unwavering support of benefactors, volunteers, and our dedicated religious community, we continue to improve our facilities, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment with qualified teachers, better infrastructure, and opportunities for holistic development. Every classroom rebuilt, every student empowered, is a testament to what faith, determination, and solidarity can accomplish.
